LifeCycle Summary
For everyone that has been involved in the LifeCycle project in 2009, I think that it is a memory that will stay with us all forever.
Exactly one year ago today, Tets, Lowey , Sid and myself started our training in earnest by embarking on a New Year's Eve 50 mile training ride in temperatures so cold that the water in our drinks bottles actually froze!
All part of a process which brought together so many great people within Barclays, all focused on one aim - to raise £250,000 for Children's Hospices UK. I think at the outset, a lot of people looked at our target and thought it was a little bit too ambitious. The great news is that we not only met that target, we absolutely smashed it. Eleanor Brady at Children's Hospices has confirmed that the total actually raised is a staggering £373,012.80.
